Our areas of work

We promote sustainable development and only occasionally humanitarian relief in response to crises.

The focal areas of our projects are food security, WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) and peacebuilding. We concentrate on long-term development cooperation. We are also active in supplying humanitarian and shorter-term aid in response to crises, where necessary.

We work with local communities to build sustainable projects. The communities are experts for their contexts, and we support them as they address their most pressing needs.

In Germany we also connect with churches to involve Christians in our work and our focal topics.
